A native of Sacramento, Mike brings a successful development track record and over a decade of high-level marketing expertise to the commercial real estate team.
Specializing in hospitality, Mike is experienced in land purchasing, commercial finance, entitlements and government subsidies, design, construction, asset management, and retail leasing and sales. He has engaged in complex negotiations with city governments, lenders, and private equity firms. Mike’s most recent development, Hotel Paseo in Palm Desert, California was recognized by Architectural Digest for its midcentury modern design, earned AAA’s prestigious Four Diamond designation, and was awarded “Top 10 Best New Hotels in America” by USA Today.
Mike places an emphasis on strong economic fundamentals. He seeks out value-add properties then applies his unmatched creative skills to reimagine their best use moving forward, market to prospective tenants or buyers, and ultimately maximize valuations.
Prior to his commercial real estate career, Mike worked in Los Angeles producing content for television and digital platforms. His sales packages for Discovery Channel helped secure eight-figure brand deals with Intel and Nissan. His digital marketing work boosted bottom lines for Fortune 500 companies and raised millions in capital for tech startups.
Mike earned a bachelor’s degree from Loyola Marymount and master’s degree in Film & Television Producing from UCLA. In 2019, Mike was named to CSQ Magazine’s NextGen10 in Real Estate & Finance, honoring rising stars in the field.
