Beverly embarked on her real estate career in San Diego during the 1980s. Specializing in Equestrian Properties and land, she worked with Grubb and Ellis. As the President of the Horse Property Broker’s Association, she successfully sold properties throughout Southern California, including notable sales like The Rancho Bernardo Riding Club, San Luis Rey Training Center, Faubus Farms, and various large land parcels. Beverly’s expertise in the field led her to contribute articles to renowned publications such as The Horsetrader Magazine, The Morgan Horse Magazine, The Equestrian Connection, and Young Equestrian Magazine. She was also featured in the San Diego Union Newspaper for her knowledge of Equestrian Properties. Having relocated to Northern California, she became a part of United Country Real Estate after residing in Lake Tahoe and Grass Valley. With 25 years of experience in Grass Valley, Beverly continues to specialize in Equestrian and Rural properties. Alongside her real estate endeavors, she is a lifelong horsewoman, co-owning Meadowcreek Morgans with her husband Skip. Their breeding program has produced 12 foals, with 5 going on to become World Champions under new owners. Beverly’s love for animals has been evident since her early years, engaging in activities such as swimming in underwater shows with dolphins and sea lions at Sea World San Diego. Notably, she holds the distinction of being the first woman to ride a Killer Whale, the original Shamu. In addition to real estate and equestrian pursuits, she has participated in sled dog racing, dog agility, and Cowboy Dressage with her Morgan gelding, Meadowcreek Maverick. Beverly has also honed her creativity as a gourd artist, earning the Best of Division award for five consecutive years at the Nevada County Fair and Draft Horse Harvest Festival. With her extensive experience in real estate, Beverly possesses a comprehensive understanding of the needs of buyers and sellers, particularly in the equestrian and rural property markets. She takes great care in matching clients with their ideal properties or employing the vast network available through Sotheby’s International to effectively market properties.
